    Between Bury St Edmunds and Lavenham, Box Bush Cottage is perfectly placed for visiting this picturesque and peaceful part of west Suffolk; steeped in history and with a wealth of antique shops and great places to eat and drink.

    This delightful cottage feels just like home with open beams, traditional brick floor, log burning stove, four poster bed and large, luxurious roll top bath, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Both double bedrooms are beautifully furnished in a country chic style; nature pine furniture sits on a warm wooden floor. Box Cottage is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast whether you are keen walkers, cyclists or simply want to visit the historic neighbouring towns of Bury St Edmunds, Clare, Long Melford and Lavenham offering Medieval architecture, beautiful Georgian squares, an impressive Cathedral, Abbey and gardens, shops and galleries.

    Guests are welcome to use the private, indoor pool and should arrange times with the owner. Available May to October There is also gym and sauna facilities which are available at an additional cost. Please speak with the owner after booking.

    • Sitting room: Semi open plan lounge with cosy log burning stove, sofa, television and DVD player.

    • Kitchen/Dining area: Fully fitted, well equipped with oak work surfaces, electric hob, fan oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine

    • Ground floor family bathroom: with a generous sized roll top bath, large shower cubicle and pedestal washbasin

    • Master Bedroom: with a super four post double bedstead, dressing table, drawer unit, closet, upholstered chair and suitcase rack

    • Double Bedroom: with a grand wood framed double bed dressing table, drawer unit, closet and suitcase rack

    • Heating: Oil fired central heating throughout

    • Outside: The cottage has it's own lawned garden with a border of flowers and shrubs, and a table and chairs with parasol

    • Also...A sauna and steam room is available for guests to use by arrangement, and payable directly with the owner Please remember to bring your own towels for use in the sauna/steam room
