Beautifully presented, with a brick fireplace, bespoke kitchen, bright and spacious master bedroom and lots of attention to detail. The cottage stairs are original, very steep and narrow but there is a handrail. Guests can enjoy the enclosed cottage garden with a raised terrace which is a real sun trap. Hour Cottage over looks Water Street giving views of the adjacent period properties including De Vere House as featured in the first Harry Potter film.
Hour cottage is like a home from home with everything you need, just bring clothes basically. Water Street is perfectly placed to explore Lavenham and beyond. It’s decoration is classy yet modern and the bed is the most comfortable I have ever experienced. The only thing I’d change is to have had the ability to have booked more days there! Phil, (Stayed October 2017)
