With a vaulted ceiling and windows all around, the open plan living space is filled with light and has great views over the lawns and private sun terrace. A large contemporary kitchen area, in shades of green with oak work surfaces, blends with the occasional furniture giving a chic country cottage feel. The sitting area has a flat screen TV and views from the french doors over the terrace. The shower room has a double size, glass shower cubicle with a large, pan head shower and the double bedroom enjoys views over the terrace. The Stables is in a very quiet, picturesque location yet within a minutes drive of the A1120 Tourist Route, passing through the centre of the county and providing easy access to Suffolk Heritage Coast, to the East, and the market towns of Framlingham and Stowmarket, to the West.
“The venue was easy to find and was absolutely spotlessly clean. There was a bottle of wine for us in the fridge, which was a lovely touch, there was also complimentary milk, tea, coffee and sugar. John came to see us to check we had everything we needed and we enjoyed chatting with him about the local area. The kitchen has all necessary items for cooking, including hob, oven, microwave and a dishwasher, there is a table and chairs for indoor dining. The lounge area has a sofa, armchair, coffee table and TV with free view. The bathroom is bright and fresh and the shower was piping hot and easily adjustable. The bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage, the bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and again was immaculate. Outside there is a private patio area with table and chairs. The whole place is beautifully decorated, spacious and as mentioned spotlessly clean. On checking out we again chatted with John and Heather, who are really lovely. We just didn’t want to leave, it was such a lovely place and our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. We can’t recommend it highly enough, truly an outstanding location, peaceful, relaxing and with the nicest hosts you are ever likely to meet. 10/10” Scott, (Stayed February 2020)

A great space for a country weekend/stay. Cottage was clean, finished to a high spec and warm and cosy. Lovely treat pub meal nearby, and two cafes in village to choose for breakfasts. Host was very welcoming- and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. We hope to visit again soon-a good base to explore coast and other places nearby. Katherine, (Stayed October 2018)
We loved our short stay and wished we'd had longer. Lovely, open and spacious, clean and modern with everything you need, quiet sunny patio too. Fantastic walk in shower. Easy, on site parking in the garden area. The village is also pretty with a few shops and tea rooms. Very friendly host too. We have already started to think about our next visit and will encourage our friends and family to visit and enjoy as much as we did Andy, (Stayed September 2018)
