With so many places to visit in this beautiful area of Suffolk, Framlingham is a great place to be. There are many walks to explore right from your doorstep, and many towns and villages within a short drive, all with their own character and charm. The Suffolk Coast is a pleasurable 30 minute drive through rural Suffolk countryside. Please note: Adults Only.

The fantastic Market View apartment is in a perfect position overlooking the market square and close to a variety of independent shops, great pubs and many lovely places to eat. It is situated in an ideal location for visiting both the countryside and coast. The extremely comfortable and spacious apartment is beautifully decorated and presented to a very high standard, with everything you could possibly need and more. It was immaculately clean. What a fantastic apartment, overlooking the market square, from the large lounge bay window. In amongst all of the lovely shops and cafes and next door to the Crown and 3 or 4 restaurants to choose from. Spotlessly clean, had everything in the apartment that we needed, lovely bathroom and shower, fully equipped kitchen and lots of windows to keep apartment cool. Fantastic stay and great communication throughout. Would definitely come again and would fully recommend over a hotel stay. Lovely deli on doorstep, and butchers below. Perfect. Very rarely have we booked a place on Air BnB and it actually not only lives up to the star rating but exceeds it. This place is exceptional. It's by far the best place we've stayed in through this site. As soon as I walked in I knew immediately I wanted to book to stay here again in the future. We were very happy with everything about Market View. The cottage is comfortable and spacious and very well equipped for our short stay. Market View is exquisite; beautifully decorated and very comfortable throughout. The shower is excellent and the kitchen is supplied with everything that you would need for a self catering stay. We loved the location and the access it gave to the market square and cafes and restaurants. We would recommend The two Magpies, The Crown Hotel, Curry India and the Station Hotel to eat. Further afield The Huntingfield Arms was superb too. There is a large Co Op supermarket a 5 minute walk away which supplies freshly baked Danish pastries to go with your morning coffee. We found parking very easy; mostly in Castle Street. The owners supplied tea, coffee, milk, margarine upon arrival. I accidentally broke a wine glass and Jenny -the owner- was very gracious about it; offering to pop a replacement over. If we had to add any tips they would be remember your passwords into any TV streaming services that you may have accounts with and bring an adaptor if you have an electric shaver/toothbrush. The flat is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with many thoughtful touches like milk and butter in the fridge, USB charging ports in the kitchen, and board games and local guides. It is centrally located next to lovely shops, two very good cafes, and less than a five-minute walk to the impressive St Michael’s church with its amazing tombs and Framlingham Castle. It’s also central for so many other sights - beautiful Suffolk churches, seaside towns like Aldeburgh and Dunwich Heath. Parking is very easy to find on side streets so wasn’t an issue at all. We agree with other reviews that the photos on Airbnb don't do justice to this gorgeous apartment, which is actually much lovelierthan in the pictures. It has been decorated beautifully making it feel authentic to it's history while modern at the same time. We loved being right in the market square of Framlingham which is mostly surprisingly quiet, but pleasingly bustling on market days. So many nice independent shops in the village. Parking was a little challenging at times. We arrived after 4pm on Thursday so were able to pay just £1 to park in the market square (which was great for unloading luggage) until 8am, then another £1 to take us up to 10am. We then moved our car to Framlingham Castle a short distance up the road for the duration of our stay (we are English Heritage members so free to park there). That was no problem for us except when it came to reload our car on Saturday (market day!). Fortunately we were able to stop briefly outside the apartment in order to load up. We recently stayed in this beautiful apartment! We absolutely loved the place! Views across the market square were wonderful ! We loved watching the market being set up! It was great to just walk out of the apartment and have so many lovely amenities to hand,including two great coffee shops, a pub and restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk! There’s also a deli selling some amazing produce, good butchers and a supermarket! Framlingham Castle is just a short walk along the road and there are some lovely shops to browse around! The property was so pristine and beautifully decorated! The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt so at home here! The kitchen had everything needed for a perfect stay. The bathroom, bedroom and lounge were immaculate and very stylish . This is by far one of the loveliest apartments that we have ever stayed in! Jenny and Grahame had thought of everything to welcome us into their home! All the little extras just made our stay so special so thank you! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful apartment. It made our time in Framlingham so much more enjoyable as after spending time with family, we returned to this delightful place where we had all of the comforts of home right there. Our favorite parts of the apartment were the decor, the location which was unbeatable with access to all of the best parts of the market square including the dancing goat (coffee shop), the crown, the Indian restaurant, the supermarket and the bank! Part of our holiday was this unplanned time that we spent people watching from the lounge! We also loved that no detail was left out, if you needed anything, they had thought of it including kitchen items and adaptor plugs. There were available manuals and information on everything including contact with Graham and Jenny if you needed it. The bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping in a cloud and we slept in most days! We recently stayed here for two nights for our day out at Latitude festival. The entire place was spotless, providing all we needed for our stay.
