We did write a review in the guest book, but happy to repeat what we said there. The Boat house was lovely - a fantastic position, loved the huge window seat, excellent layout for us with 2 sets of bunks and 3 decent doubles. Rachel was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived and the whole stay was a treat. Even though the weather was pretty mixed with a fair bit of rain and cooler days, there is so much to do in that part of Suffolk, and the children were never bored. Walberswick itself is a pleasure, and the Black Dog deli had plenty of business from us. Catriona, (Stayed June 2024)
We had such a wonderful break, children had the best time crabbing and stomping, beaching and paddling. Location was great, ideal for ferry over to southwold. We felt very at home, enjoyed having a fire and dining together at the big table or chatting on the super comfy chairs and window seats. Bell Inn and Anchor both offered amazing menus. Local shops provided everything we needed. We hope to be back again soon. Kelly, (Stayed April 2024)
An exquisite location and house topped with 2 days of sunshine. The decor of the house is fantastic and the facilities were top notch. You have to treat yourself once in a while and that is what we did! Sean, (Stayed May 2023)
Such a lovely break in a gorgeous place. The boat house decor made me think my own interior choices at home! There was nothing nicer than having a glass of wine with the fire on in the evenings. Once we found the quooker tap after looking for a kettle for half an hour we were happy with everything. The only negative was for the amount of bedrooms it really need another toilet and walk in shower. We loved it and want to return. Thank you! Karen, (Stayed April 2023)

We enjoyed a lovely, comfortable stay in this stylish seaside home. The house was a big enough for our party of 8 and a great location to local landmarks. We will definitely be back. Thank you! Hannah, (Stayed September 2022)
A beautiful house, with great space and amenities, in an unbelievable location Gregory, (Stayed August 2022)
In our view, one of the best houses in Walberswick - beautiful views and location for the river, beach, walks, the village and Southwold (walking via the bridge or taking the ferry). The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We used the canoe many times for lovely, peaceful trips down the river. We had an idyllic week. Lauren, (Stayed August 2022)
We are returning guests. We love the location, the boat house is beautifully furnished, lots of hot water and minutes from the beach. The Anchor Pub in the village is excellent. Karen, (Stayed July 2021)
Amazing home! Thank you so much for allowing us to share this magical, wonderful house. The views, sun rise, sun sets are some of the best we have ever seen. The children had one of the best half term holidays and can't wait to return. Sue and Andrea from Cottagetree were great and so helpful in many ways ensuring our stay was perfect. The Boat House has got to be one of the best houses in Walberswick, certainly No1 for location. Steve & Helen & family, (Stayed June 2021)
One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Sit back and watch that view in total comfort. Hop on the ferry to get your fresh fish (with obligatory glass of wine and chips) and walk back VIA the marshes and beaches. Heavenly. Cannot recommend enough. David, (Stayed April 2021)
We had the most amazing time, the location is just amazing and the house inside is idyllic. For a house by the sea with superb views you cannot beat this, would certainly recommend. Robert, (Stayed August 2019)
The Boat House is fabulous. Stylish, spacious, clean, well equipped. Lots of white fluffy towels, crisp good quality bedlinen and comfy beds! Wonderful views towards Southwold and the harbour. The wood burner was ready to use and there was plenty more logs in a basket. A great place to stay anytime of the year Karen, (Stayed April 2019)
