Decided to stay in the loft for a last minute weekend getaway after regional covid restrictions changed our plans. The loft was the perfect stay for our forest holiday. With under floor heating, well stocked kitchen utensils and a pretty loft open plan flat, it was perfect. Thank you for accommodating us so thoughtfully Douglas, (Stayed October 2020)
“Cute little place to stay with all amenities you could want. Ideally located close by to a variety of places to shop, drink and eat. Would recommend Katherine, (Stayed August 2020)
A very well equipped and thoughtfully designed studio flat. Alex and Jill are excellent hosts Peter, (Stayed August 2020)
“This light, airy studio flat is a joy to stay in. A good size with everything you need, well presented. Located in a quiet close in a good neighbourhood. Local bakery, post office and corner shop (that stocks absolutely everything) a few minutes walk away. Easy access for a local run/stroll in nearby woods/ beautiful Suffolk fields. Kitchen has all you need plus extra touches e.g. salad bowl, cafetière, nice wine glasses, separate recycling bins. Bed comfortable. Bathroom compact but with good shower (and well illuminated mirror!!). Nice decor. Extendable table. Access to outdoor space. Friendly, helpful hosts but definitely your own space. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay if you are visiting or working in the area.” Jane, (Stayed August 2020)
Great place to stay, very well equipped with everything that you need. Also recommend the monthly Sunday farmers market in Bury Heather, (Stayed August 2020)
Great studio flat, very clean, had everything we needed for a couple of nights Matthew, (Stayed August 2020)
“My second stay at The Loft, can't really add much to my previous review...highly recommended!” Richard, (Stayed October 2019)
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your attractive and comfortable 'Loft!' It is beautifully appointed (you have thought of everything!) and we enjoyed our stay very much, getting to know Bury St Edmunds. The Loft is a very well appointed studio on the outskirts of Bury St Edmonds only a short drive from the city centre. The area is peaceful. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at nearby Ballantyne Health Spa, literally 5 minutes away. Plenty to see and do including National Trust Ickworth House Carol-Ann, (Stayed August 2019)
Very comfortable relaxing studio flat. Had everything you could want very thoughtfully thought out. Perfect for a few nights stay Carolyn, (Stayed August 2019)
“Beautiful little place. Great location. Perfect hosts. It’s got everything you’d need for any length of stay. We would love to come back” James, (Stayed August 2019)
The Loft is an amazing place to stay with lovely hosts who made me feel very welcome. Everything had been thought of to make this a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area was ideal to relax in and the double bed ensured a good night’s sleep. The Loft is above the owner’s garage with it’s own separate entrance and is in a very quiet neighbourhood. The town centre is a ten minute drive away and there is a local bakery and small convenience store 5 minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend this home away from home Jackie, (Stayed August 2019)

A really lovely place for a couple, which is really conveniently located for the town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again in the future, thank you Michelle, (Stayed June 2019)
