    Situated between Eye and Debenham, both with a great range of independent stores and traditional pubs, Wheelwrights Cottage has convenient road links to the historic towns of Framlingham, Diss and Bury St Edmunds. Suffolk's Heritage Coast, with the popular towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, is an easy drive too.

    Please note, this Cottage is suitable for adults only due to the open stream in the garden

    The entrance lobby, for your coats and walking boots, opens into a charming sitting room with low beams and a fabulous Inglenook fireplace. Moving on through the property, the dining area is screened from the kitchen by an open beam wall with a step down to the prep area. To the rear of the cottage is a utility room giving access to the ground floor shower room and door to the garden, which is secluded and lawned with its mature shrubbery. The patio is a sun trap where you can enjoy an al fresco coffee, lunch or barbeque.

    Ground Floor

    • Entrance Lobby: With space for boots and coats.

    • Sitting Room: With Inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove, sofas and chairs, TV with Freeview.

    • Dining Area and Kitchen: Dining area with round oak table and chairs, steps down to a fitted and well equipped kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, cafetierre, with the sink positioned under the window, overlooking the rear garden. The cottage stairs, accessed off the dining area, are relatively steep but have a hand rail.

    • Utility Room: Access to the rear garden and with plenty of room for coats and boots. Washing machine and access to the shower room.

    • Shower Room: with shower cubicle, wc and pedestal washbasin

    First Floor

    • Double Bedroom: With a comfortable 4'6 double bed, side tables with lamps, hairdryer and a pine wardrobe. This bedroom has a cosy, old style cottage sloping ceiling and floor. Please be aware of the raised floor joist that spans the room

    • Twin Bedroom: With twin single beds, side cabinet and lamp and hanging rail.

    • Outside: An enclosed private garden, lawned with a paved area for garden furniture and traditional charcoal barbecue.

    • Heating:  Electric radiators throughout with a wood burning stove in the sitting room.

    • Also... Wifi included and an initial supply of logs for the wood burner.
      PLEASE NOTE that is is not possible to charge electric vehicles at this property
