  • description
The Ferns is spacious, bright and full of authentic charm with many original features and just a stones throw from Dunwich beach and the village pub.

A beautiful, cosy cottage in the heart of Dunwich, the owners have taken great pride in the house and have made it a special place to spend time with friends. It has been not furnished with 'rentals' or small children in mind. Although, children are welcome, please bear in mind that there are numerous antiques in the house.

"........The location couldn’t have been better for us - beside a non-touristy beach, close to a wildlife sanctuary, and right across the road from a gastropub - perfect. Henry was an exceptional host and helped us with information and suggestions throughout. We can’t recommend the Ferns more highly. Sue ''

the absolute dream George, (Stayed November 2023)
Lovely cottage and setting, brilliantly equipped kitchen, beautiful area - the only downside was the British weather! Amanda, (Stayed June 2023)
What a beautiful home! Thank you Henry and Molly for sharing it with us - we had such a magical week. So lovely to stay at an AirBnB that the owners would also choose to live in, rather than a sterile buy to let. We will miss our sunrise beach walks - but we hope to come back soon. Jenny, (Stayed April 2023)
